ABOUT US
The School of Management consists of the Department of Accounting, the Department of Tourism, and the Department of Engineering Management. It offers four undergraduate programs in Financial Management, Hotel Management, Tourism Management, and Engineering Management. Drawing on the Yellow River culture as its foundation, the School of Management emphasizes green and low-carbon development. By leveraging big data and artificial intelligence as key tools, and through international cooperation as a breakthrough point, the school has established interdisciplinary clusters that integrate engineering and management. These include the “Low-Carbon Major Cluster,” the “Economic and Management Major Cluster,” and the “Culture, Tourism, and Creative+ Major Cluster.” The School of Management has integrated its green vision and digital intelligence thinking into daily teaching, educational activities, and internships, thereby enhancing the quality of its applied undergraduate education.
The School of Management, by leveraging the “Central Plains Carbon Valley” think tank and the platform of international joint laboratories, is dedicated to scientific and technological research and development, transformation of research results, talent cultivation, and enterprise incubation. Through hosting the Central Plains Carbon Valley Development Forum and inviting renowned experts as guests, the school enhances the understanding of faculty and students regarding the cutting-edge developments in their respective fields. By adopting the “Artificial Intelligence + Dual Carbon” model, the school has established a digital service platform for carbon peak and carbon neutrality, visually demonstrating the application of the dual carbon goals in academic disciplines. Currently, the School of Management has collaborated with two large-scale domestic enterprises to establish research and development centers, including the Artificial Intelligence Training Base and R&D Center for the Dual Carbon field, and the Carbon Management Technology R&D Center. By conducting scientific research activities, the school broadens the academic horizons of both faculty and students. Moreover, the School of Management is actively promoting international cooperative education and has achieved significant progress in collaboration with institutions from Italy, Hong Kong, and Australia.
The School of Management envisions achieving significant outcomes through its distinctive education in “Artificial Intelligence + Dual Carbon”. It is anticipated that the employment rate of graduates will be substantially improved in the future. Additionally, the academic influence of the School of Management in the domains of “Artificial Intelligence” and “Dual Carbon” continues to grow. We remain committed to exploring innovative educational strategies to ensure that the distinctive development of the School of Management aligns more effectively with societal needs.
